Happy Halloween guys! Today I have some fun and spooky-inspired recipes for you that your kids are sure to love. They are perfect for any Halloween party.
I don’t know about you, but this year flew by, I can’t believe it is Halloween already. I’ve been so busy that I have been looking through the Internet for some inspirations and here are easy and fun ideas I tried.
String Cheese and Pretzel Witches Brooms
Idea from: Free Fun Halloween
Cut the string cheese in 2″ strips
Insert mini pretzel stick into the top of the strip
Make vertical slices making sure not to cut too high.
Fan the pieces apart to make the broom.
Little Devil Guacamole Chips
Round tortilla chips
Red bell pepper (cut into small triangles)
Rasins (cut into small pieces)
Put a small dollop of guacamole on each chip. Add your triangular pieces of red pepper on top for the horns and two small pieces of raisins for the eyes.
11oz classic white chips
Coconut flakes (look for very dry coconut flakes)
Over a double boiler melt the white chips.
Using a spoon coat each pretzel stick with the white chocolate mixture. Allow excess to drip. Immediately spoon coconut flakes over the pretzel stick. I used a separate bowl with coconut flakes and second spoon ready to go.
Decorate as desired – You can use candy eyes or black cake gel to make eyes.
Cantaloupe (pieces cut into small rectangular cubes)
Thread cantaloupe and blackberries onto skewer alternating. You should be able to get three pieces of cantaloupe and three blackberries onto each skewer.
6 cups of chopped watermelon
1 Yummy Spoonfuls Apple, Blueberry, Banana pouch
1 Yummy Spoonfuls Mango pouch
Combine all of the above ingredients into a blender and blend on high for one minute.
Serve in your favorite Halloween glasses
