Who else is always misplacing their wine glass? Especially during the holidays with all of the dinners and parties, it is very easy to have absolutely no idea what glass actually belongs to you! Enter my homemade wine charms …
I love making these homemade wine glass charms for a dinner party, and guests love them too. The other time I love making these is when I am giving a hostess gift. I will go out and buy a bottle of wine, and a set of wine or champagne glasses, and then attach my homemade wine charms to the glasses. It’s a great way to add a personal touch to a typical gift.
You can pick up everything you need from a craft store, very inexpensively. You will need:
- A package of tassles (they come in every color so it’s easy to get festive with these)
- A spool of string material of your choice. I used silver string, but there are endless possibilities!
- Charms of your choice. I chose little circle charms, but again, hit the jewelry isle of your craft store and you will find a ton of options.
- A clasp or toggle to close your charms.
To assemble your wine charms:
Start but cutting your string into 5.5 inch pieces. Next, loop on your tassel and charms. At each end of the string, attach your clasps or toggles, and secure them. Finally, trim any excess string from the end of each clasp.
