Why not have a little festive fun, and make these Halloween themed salad side dishes inside oranges! They were a big hit with my kids … So much so that I got them to eat salad!

Jack O Lantern Oranges

6 – 8 Navel Oranges
Your favorite salad to fill the oranges

Cut ¼ of the orange off the top. Using a paring knife insert knife and go around the pulp of the orange from the top. Use a spoon to scoop out the pulp and save for snacks or juice. Carve the orange as you would a pumpkin and fill with your favorite salad.
