Slowly and carefully add the lye to the water-coffee mixture, and gently stir until the lye has fully dissolved. Set aside to cool to about 130-140 degrees.
Fully melt and combine the coconut oil, cocoa butter and olive oil. Once the lye water and the oils have cooled to 130 degrees or below (and are ideally within10 degrees of each other), add the lye water to the oils, and stick blend until it looks like pudding (about 5 minutes with hand mixer).
Add 2 tablespoons of used coffee grounds to the soap batter and use a whisk to fully incorporate them.
Once the used coffee grounds are incorporated pour mixture into your box lined with parchment paper.
Let it settle for a few minutes to set up and you can use a spoon to create beautiful mounds in the soap
Allow the soap to stay in the mold for about one to two days covered with a towel to lock in the heat. Unmold, and cut into bars. Allow the bars to cure for four to six weeks and enjoy!
