Better For You Banana Oatmeal Cookies

Servings 16 cookies

Ingredients

  • 3 bananas, ripe and mashed
  • cups rolled oats
  • ½ cup walnuts or pecans, chopped
  • ½ tsp salt
  • tsp vanilla
  • ¼ cup mini chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the mashed bananas and all the ingredients. 
  • Using a cookie scoop or tablespoon, spoon 16 evenly sized amounts of cookie batter onto the parchment paper. 
  • Bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Cool or enjoy warm!
