The Silk Tie
Ingredients:For the Rosemary Syrup:1 cup sugar
1 cup water
4 rosemary sprigs, cut to 4 inchesTo Make The Cocktail: 1 and ½ ounce vodka
¾ ounce of Poire Williams (clear pear brandy)
½ a pearDirectionsFor the Rosemary Syrup:Bring sugar and water to boil in small saucepan, stirring to dissolve sugar.
Add rosemary sprigs.
Reduce heat and simmer 2 minutes.
Cool mixture completely and pull out rosemary for garnish.To Make The Cocktail: Mix tablespoon of rosemary syrup, vodka and Poire Williams in a shaker with ice.
Strain into a martini glass
To garnish remove core from half a pair and slice a razor thin sliver of a quarter of a pear. Lay the pear sliver across the cocktail and slide in a small stalk of rosemary. Enjoy responsibly!
