In a Dutch Oven or large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chopped onions, sliced jalapenos, and minced garlic. Cook for a couple of minutes. Add the ground turkey, breaking it up as it cooks and is no longer pink.
Add the chili powder, salt, pepper, and tomato paste. Stir to combine.
Add the diced sweet potatoes and chicken stock. Lower heat to medium, cover and let cook for about 5 minutes. Add the beans, stir, and cook for a few minutes more or until the sweet potatoes are fork tender.
