Asian Glazed Brussels Sprouts

Ingredients

  • 4 cups Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • 3 tbsp Olive Oil
  • Kosher salt
  • Black pepper
  • 1 cup Hoisin Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Soy Sauce or Tamari
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp Sambal or Garlic Chili Sauce
Garnish
  • 4 Slices of Bacon, cooked and diced (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. 
  • On a sheet pan, gently toss the halved Brussels with olive oil and season with Kosher salt and black pepper. Shake the pan so there is one even layer of Brussels. 
  • Roast the Brussels until cooked through and golden brown. Approximately 30-40 minutes. 
  • While the Brussels are roasting, combine the hoisin sauce, soy sauce or tamari, honey, and Sambal in a small saucepan over low heat. Warm the glaze mixture.
  • When Brussels are cooked through, place them in a serving bowl and drizzle the desired amount of the glaze over them.  *You may have extra glaze leftover, which can be refrigerated for up to two weeks. 
  • Top with cooked bacon bits and serve.
