In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, flaxseeds, baking soda, and salt.
In another bowl, mix eggs, applesauce, maple syrup, and melted coconut oil.
Combine the wet and dry ingredients, stirring until just mixed.
Fold in the chocolate chips.
Divide batter into muffin cups, filling each about ¾ full.
Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
