BFY Homemade Gatorade

Ingredients

  • 4 cups coconut water
  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • ¼ tsp salt (preferably Himalayan pink salt or sea salt for added minerals)
  • ¼ cup freshly squeezed citrus juice (choose one or mix: lemon, lime, orange, or grapefruit)
Optional
  • 1-2 Cucumber slices
  • ½ tsp Grated ginger

Instructions

  • In a large pitcher or mixing bowl, combine the water, salt, and honey (or maple syrup). Stir until the salt and sweetener are fully dissolved.
  • Pour in the freshly squeezed citrus juice. Mix well to combine.
  • Add any optional ingredients, like mint leaves, cucumber slices, or grated ginger, for additional flavor and health benefits.
  • Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to cool or serve over ice.
