Homemade Fall Apple Ginger Juice

Ingredients

  • 4 medium apples (preferably crisp varieties like Honeycrisp or Gala), cored and sliced
  • 2 ripe pear, cored and sliced
  • 1 inch fresh ginger root, peeled and grated
  • ¼ tsp pumpkin spice
  • ¼ tsp ground cinnamon
  • pinch on nutmeg
  • 1 cup water (optional, for a smoother juice consistency)
  • ice cubes (optional for serving)

Instructions

  • In a blender or juicer, combine the apple slices, pear slices, and grated ginger. Blend until smooth. If the mixture is too thick, add up to 1 cup of water for a thinner consistency.
  • Stir in the pumpkin spice, cinnamon, and a pinch of nutmeg into the juice. Blend for an additional 10-15 seconds to incorporate the spices
  • For a smoother texture, strain the juice through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth into a pitcher, pressing to extract all the liquid.
  • Pour the juice over ice cubes (if desired) and enjoy immediately! For a warm version, gently heat the juice on the stove for a cozy fall beverage.
