Cover with the food processor lid and lightly pulse to incorporate the dates into the mixture.
Transfer the mixture to a freezer-safe container and let it freeze for 1 hour. Then, stir it to prevent icing. Freeze for one more hour, stir, and serve.
If making ahead, follow the above instructions and remove the dish from the freezer. Let it rest at room temperature for 20 minutes before scooping and serving.
