WOT Grilling Marinade

Servings 1 cup

Ingredients

  • 6 tbsp tamari or low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • Dash of Kosher salt
  • Fresh ground black pepper

Instructions

  • In a bowl, whisk together the tamari or soy sauce, honey, garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, a dash of Kosher salt, and a couple of turns of fresh cracked black pepper.
  • Optional: Reserve ¼ cup of the marinade and refrigerate. Brush or drizzle the reserved marinade over the meat after it is grilled
  • Pour the remaining marinade over the beef or chicken and let marinate for 4-6 hours or overnight in the refrigerator. 
  • Dispose of the marinade that was in the bowl with the meat. 
  • Grill your beef or chicken.
