We’re all making our own cup-of-joe these days — but don’t settle for a plain brew! Spice it up with my Turkish latte... It uses cardamom, cinnamon, and cloves to provide a deliciously aromatic wake-up call and major health benefits.
These spices are packed with antioxidants and anti-inflammatory compounds. Cardamom may convey immunomodulatory effects, and studies have shown that cloves can also stimulate and enhance the immune system. Plus, cinnamon may work synergistically with a compound in coffee to deliver more antioxidant power than either can alone! You can also add an optional teaspoon of manuka honey for a dose of potential anti-viral properties.
Enjoy!
