5 Ways To Step Up Your Wrapping Game This Holiday

Discover the story
Tis’ the season for giving and if you are feeling a little uninspired in the gift wrapping department, we’ve got some easy ideas for you

Beautiful gift wrapping is a bit of an art form and unless you are really good at channeling your inner Martha Stewart and it comes naturally to you, you may find yourself struggling to package up your gifts in a beautiful presentation.

Today we are sharing with you 5 easy ways to make your gifts look festive and chic, without having to be a master gift wrapper.

Adorn your gifts with some dried citrus — Adding some dried citrus to gift bags is a very easy way to make them look chic and personal. We recommend using a festive burlap gift bag and then attaching some dried oranges. If you don’t know how to make your own dried citrus at home, it is VERY easy and we have instructions here.

Go with a natural kraft paper and twine for a classic look and then affix festive touches — You really can’t go wrong with a beautiful kraft wrapping paper and some twine. It’s classic, chic and you can then get creative with what goes on top. Try using a sprig of rosemary and a cinnamon stick for a festive touch. You can also head outside in your yard and grab some greens! Why not use what you have right outside your door?

Go monochromatic — For a very chic look that screams ‘this was wrapped at an expensive department store’ try going monochromatic in your wrapping. You can do this with any color really. All black, while not festive, is very classic. Or you can go with all green, red or metallics.

Pick a theme for the gifts under your tree — If you are the lead gift wrapper in your home try picking a color scheme (like all metallic wrapping paper for example). Your gifts will look gorgeous under your tree and will be a décor piece all on their own.

Use velvet ribbon and adorn with an ornament or some jingle bells — Another way to make simple wrapping look beautiful is to use a simple wrapping paper and then tie your package with a velvet bow. You can also adorn each package with some festive jingle bells for an added touch.

Hope this helps you this holiday season!
