Tis’ the season for giving and if you are feeling a little uninspired in the gift wrapping department, we’ve got some easy ideas for you
Beautiful gift wrapping is a bit of an art form and unless you are really good at channeling your inner Martha Stewart and it comes naturally to you, you may find yourself struggling to package up your gifts in a beautiful presentation.
Today we are sharing with you 5 easy ways to make your gifts look festive and chic, without having to be a master gift wrapper. Keep scrolling to check them out!

Make it simple and sustainable — If you want your wrapping to feel special without buying a cart full of supplies, try using what you already have at home. Brown paper grocery bags, leftover fabric, or even your kids’ artwork make beautiful, one of a kind wrapping. Tie everything up with twine or ribbon you saved from other packages and add a little greenery from the yard for a chic, low waste finish.

Adorn your gifts with some dried citrus — Adding some dried citrus to gift bags is a very easy way to make them look chic and personal. We recommend using a festive burlap gift bag and then attaching some dried oranges. If you don’t know how to make your own dried citrus at home, it is VERY easy and we have instructions here.

Go with a natural kraft paper and twine for a classic look and then affix festive touches — You really can’t go wrong with a beautiful kraft wrapping paper and some twine. It’s classic, chic and you can then get creative with what goes on top. Try using a sprig of rosemary and a cinnamon stick for a festive touch. You can also head outside in your yard and grab some greens! Why not use what you have right outside your door?

Go monochromatic — For a very chic look that screams ‘this was wrapped at an expensive department store’ try going monochromatic in your wrapping. You can do this with any color really. All black, while not festive, is very classic. Or you can go with all green, red or metallics.

Use velvet ribbon and adorn with an ornament or some jingle bells — Another way to make simple wrapping look beautiful is to use a simple wrapping paper and then tie your package with a velvet bow. You can also adorn each package with some festive jingle bells for an added touch.

Pro tip: Create a small “wrap station” at home with your paper, tape, scissors, tags, and ribbon all in one bin. When it is time to wrap, you can pull it out, turn on a holiday movie, and get it all done without hunting for supplies.
Hope this helps you this holiday season!
