If you’re a fan of bold flavors, you will love our Asian Glazed Brussels Sprouts! Inspired by the glazed Brussels sprouts served at The Capital Grille, this recipe packs a punch of sweet, savory, and tangy goodness.
Roasted to crispy perfection and coated in a rich, flavorful sauce, these Brussels sprouts are a crowd-pleasing side that pairs well with almost any meal.
Asian Glazed Brussels Sprouts
Ingredients
- 4 cups Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
- 3 tbsp Olive Oil
- Kosher salt
- Black pepper
- 1 cup Hoisin Sauce
- 2 tbsp Soy Sauce or Tamari
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp Sambal or Garlic Chili Sauce
- 4 Slices of Bacon, cooked and diced (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
- On a sheet pan, gently toss the halved Brussels with olive oil and season with Kosher salt and black pepper. Shake the pan so there is one even layer of Brussels.
- Roast the Brussels until cooked through and golden brown. Approximately 30-40 minutes.
- While the Brussels are roasting, combine the hoisin sauce, soy sauce or tamari, honey, and Sambal in a small saucepan over low heat. Warm the glaze mixture.
- When Brussels are cooked through, place them in a serving bowl and drizzle the desired amount of the glaze over them. *You may have extra glaze leftover, which can be refrigerated for up to two weeks.
- Top with cooked bacon bits and serve.
