This Blood Orange Paloma is perfectly tart with the option to be naturally sweetened with agave, this cocktail is sure to please everyone.
We did not add any agave to ours, but if you are into a little sweetness, add a teaspoon to the juice mixture.
For this recipe, you will need to juice one blood orange and the other one is for slicing and a beautiful garnish.
Blood Orange Paloma
Ingredients
- 2 blood oranges, divided
- 1 lime, juiced
- 3 oz. reposado tequila
- 1 tsp. agave nectar (optional)
- seltzer water
- salt for the rim of the glass
- 1 blood orange, sliced for glass
Instructions
- Juice one Blood Orange and the Lime, set aside.
- In a small pitcher add a scoop of ice, pour in the tequila, then the blood orange and lime juice. Stir to combine. Give the juice a little taste and if you want to add a little sweetness, add in 1 teaspoon of agave nectar.
- If desired, rim half of the glasses with salt and add some ice to each glass. Pour the Blood Orange mixture from the small pitcher into each glass leaving about 1 inch of space to the top of the glass. Top with Seltzer Water.

- Garnish with a sliced blood orange wheel and serve.
