Margaritas and olives? Hear us out on this one!
Today, we are bringing a Mexican twist to the traditional bar snack, marinated olives. Meet our Easy Margarita Marinated Olives! These tasty olives are an easy yet impressive appetizer / snack recipe you can whip up before a party or get-together!
The combination of salty, spicy, and zesty is cut perfectly with a touch of tequila… Suffice it to say, these are definitely worth making.
Easy Margarita Marinated Olives
Ingredients
- 1 cup drained and rinsed, Kalamata olives
- 1 cup drained jalapeno or garlic-stuffed olives
- 12 slices pickled jalapeno peppers, chopped
- ¼ cup cilantro, minced
- ¼ cup reposado tequila
- ¼ cup lime juice
- 2 tbsp triple sec
- 1 tsp orange zest
Instructions
- In a small, non-reactive bowl, such as glass or ceramic, combine the first 7 ingredients. Cover and refrigerate for at least 24 hours.
- When ready to serve, add the orange zest. Stir to combine and transfer to a serving bowl.
- Olives can be refrigerated for up to one week.
