Because a little self-care doesn’t need to come at a high cost…
One thing we always opt to make ourselves at home are scented bath salts. Not only are they very easy to make, but there is no reason to spend money on store-bought ones which can be pricey.
Drawing a bath and soaking in infused bath salts is one of those little luxuries that just makes you feel good as they help melt away stress and tension in the body.
Not only are infused bath salts soothing, but the magnesium in the Epsom salt can also help ease muscle tension, while the sea salt and baking soda can make the bath more pleasant.
These infused bath salts also make great gifts! You can pick up some inexpensive jars, fill them up with the salts and gift to anyone who could use a little extra relaxation.
We make ours with lavender oil and eucalyptus oil, but you can also make yours however you would like — For example with rose or sandalwood or chamomile. We also add dried lavender and some dried rosemary.
