No matter the reason or season, a cosmopolitan is always a quick and delicious cocktail choice.
Sometimes its best to not mess with a classic and Camila’s go to Cosmopolitan recipe is no exception.
Made wildly popular by Carrie Bradshaw (although it was legendary bartender Dale DeGroff and a Miami woman named Cheryl Cook who are are often credited with inventing the modern cosmo recipe), you have likely tried one or at least heard of this drink.
This cocktail is actually very easy to make with only a few simple ingredients to make it delicious. But the most important part? This drink simply MUST be served in a martini glass.
Camila's Cosmopolitan
Servings 1
Ingredients
- 1-1/2 shots vodka
- 1 shot triple sec
- 1 tsp. freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 2 tbsp. cranberry juice
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients with ice in a cocktail shaker and shake.
- Wipe the rim of a martini glass with a lemon wedge and rim with sugar.
- Pour into the martini glass and enjoy responsibly.
