Fall appetizer at it's best!
Just in time for fall, we have a wonderful appetizer recipe for you guys. This Creamy Sweet Potato Dip is sure to be a crowd-pleaser, and you can keep on preparing this one right through the Holiday season!
Creamy Sweet Potato Dip
Ingredients
- 1/2 whole wheat pita, split and cut into 8 pcs.
- 1/3 cup roasted mashed sweet potato
- 1 tbsp. plain Greek-style low-fat yogurt
- 1/4 tsp. honey
- 1/8 tsp. dried chipotle chile powder, or 1/8 tsp. curry powder
- 1/8 tsp. salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- Arrange pita pieces on a baking sheet; bake for 10 minutes until crisp.
- While the pita is baking, combine sweet potato, yogurt, honey, chile powder, and salt in a small bowl; stir with a fork until smooth. Serve with warm pita chips.
