Today, we’re sharing these Turkey Cranberry Pinwheels, the perfect party appetizer. They’re easy to make, festive and always a crowd-pleaser!
Plus, this recipe yields enough pinwheel bites to assemble a delightful double-decker tree, making it as fun to present as it is to eat.
Holiday Turkey Cranberry Pinwheel Bites
Ingredients
- 8 oz. container of chive and onion flavored cream cheese, softened
- 4 tbsp cranberry sauce
- 4 large 10-inch flour tortillas
- 5 oz. package of dried cranberries
- 12 oz. thinly sliced turkey breast 12 slices (3 on each tirtilla)
- 2 cups spinach leaves, stems removed
Instructions
- Divide the cream cheese evenly among the flour tortillas, spreading the cream cheese in a thin layer covering the tortillas.
- Add 1 tablespoon of cranberry sauce per tortilla and spread evenly.
- Sprinkle the cranberries over the cream cheese mixture.
- Add thin layers of turkey and spinach leaves on top of the cranberries.
- Roll up the tortillas as tightly as you can.
- Tightly wrap the rolls in parchement paper or plastic wrap. Place them in the refrigerator for a minimum of 6 hours or up to 1 day. This will allow the flavors to meld and the cream cheese to firm up.
- Remove the plastic wrap. Trim the pointed ends (save for snacking) and slice each roll into approximately 8 pieces, making atotalof 32 pinwheels bites.
- Optional: Arrange the pinwheels on a large platter in the shape of a Christmas tree and trim with fresh rosemary.
