You have probably seen Clea and Joanna everywhere lately (whether you realize it or not)
Clea Shearer and Joanna Teplin are also known as the dynamic team behind The Home Edit — You may know them from their hit Netflix show Get Organized With The Home Edit organizing the homes of Khloe Kardashian, Reese Witherspoon, and Eva Longoria. Or, you may have seen their exclusive collection of storage and organization products at The Container Store. The ladies have made it their mission to teach organization and they are offering up some seriously good solutions to a problem we all deal with: how the heck to stay organized at home!

The ladies both agree the most important room the home to organize is the kitchen. The kitchen is the heart of the home and used several times a day. One of the best takeaways from today’s LIVE was to set reasonable expectations and a system that you can maintain. You have to find the system that works for you and that will fit your lifestyle!
Some other tips and tricks that Clea and Joanna shared with us:
Use Bins – Winter Bins and Summer Bins with the appropriate accessories for the given seasons. Helps to make the seasonal change over quick and easy.
Edit Out – Edit out items that you don’t love or use anymore.
Create Zones In Your Closet – If you have the space, try to group similar items in your closet into zones. For example, keep all your exercise clothing together. If you can group by color, even better.
Labeling is Key — A label lets you know where to put things back!
