We are huge dog fans at WOT, so today we are bringing you our easy Homemade Pumpkin Dog Treats recipe! Making dog treats may sound complicated, but this recipe couldn’t be more straightforward. With just three ingredients, you can whip this up for your pup in no time! **Note – Since this recipe contains turmeric, having your pup enjoy this outside would be best to avoid any possible staining.**
WOT we love about this recipe: It’s a better-for-you recipe for your dogs. Pumpkin is a superfood for dogs! It contains essential micronutrients and fiber that make it a very nutritious treat.

Homemade Pumpkin Dog Treats
Equipment
- Silicone Mold optional
Ingredients
- ¾ cup pumpkin puree
- ¼ cup coconut oil
- Ground turmeric
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, combine the coconut oil and pumpkin puree. Gently whisk to combine.
- In the bottom of the dog treat silicone molds, sprinkle a small amount of turmeric in the bottom of each mold. Using a large spoon, spoon enough mixture to fill each one of the molds.
- Place the mold in the freezer for at least 4 hours. Remove the treats from the bag and store them in an air-tight container in the freezer for up to two months.
