Today, we’re bringing you this delicious cocktail courtesy of Pantalones Tequila: Meet the Burnt Orange Britches!
This recipe uses Pantalones Organic Añejo Tequila with notes of vanilla, butterscotch with brown sugar, and a super comfortable, well-worn, velvety finish. The añejo tequila combines with the blood orange, lemon, and agave syrup to create a refreshing and slightly sweet cocktail.
Burnt Orange Britches
Ingredients
- 1½ oz Pantalones Organic Añejo Tequila
- ¾ oz blood orange juice
- ½ oz lemon juice
- ¼ oz agave syrup
- 1 egg white
- Bitters
- Burnt blood orange slice
Instructions
- Add ingredients into a shaker - Tequila, blood orange juice, lemon juice, agave syrup, and egg white and dry shake (no ice).
- Add ice to shaker and shake again.
- Strain into a glass.
- Garnish with 3 drops of bitters and burnt blood orange slice.
- Preheat oven to 225 degrees F
- Place orange slices on a parchment-lined sheet pan and sprinkle with sugar.
- Place in the oven and bake until the sugar is caramelized.
