Today, we’re bringing you this delicious cocktail courtesy of Pantalones Tequila: Meet the Burnt Orange Britches! 

This recipe uses Pantalones Organic Añejo Tequila with notes of vanilla, butterscotch with brown sugar, and a super comfortable, well-worn, velvety finish. The añejo tequila combines with the blood orange, lemon, and agave syrup to create a refreshing and slightly sweet cocktail.

Burnt Orange Britches

Author Pantalones Tequila

Ingredients

  • oz Pantalones Organic Añejo Tequila
  • ¾ oz blood orange juice
  • ½ oz lemon juice
  • ¼ oz agave syrup
  • 1 egg white
Garnish
  • Bitters
  • Burnt blood orange slice

Instructions

  • Add ingredients into a shaker - Tequila, blood orange juice, lemon juice, agave syrup, and egg white and dry shake (no ice).
  • Add ice to shaker and shake again.
  • Strain into a glass.
  • Garnish with 3 drops of bitters and burnt blood orange slice.
For The Burnt Blood Orange
  • Preheat oven to 225 degrees F
  • Place orange slices on a parchment-lined sheet pan and sprinkle with sugar.
  • Place in the oven and bake until the sugar is caramelized.
