Chocolate Covered Ghost Bananas

Discover the story
These spooky treats are almost too cute to eat! Almost...

This Halloween, transform ordinary bananas into a spooky treat with our White Chocolate Covered Ghost Bananas recipe. Not only are these ghostly delights adorable, but they’re also incredibly easy to make. Plus, the combination of sweet white chocolate and the natural creaminess of bananas is perfect for a healthier treat.

You can also get creative and try the same process with other fruits like strawberries or oranges!

This is a great recipe to have your little ones help you out in the kitchen with!

Chocolate Covered Ghost Bananas

Ingredients

  • 3 bananas, peeled and halved crosswise
  • Melted white chocolate (enough to coat and decorate the bananas)
  • 12 candy eyeballs

Instructions

  • Insert a stick into the cut end of each banana half. Lay the bananas on a parchment-lined baking sheet and place in the freezer until completely frozen, at least several hours and preferably overnight.
  • Place most of the white chocolate into a medium bowl and the rest into a small piping bag or resealable plastic baggie with a corner snipped off. Dip each banana into the bowl of chocolate and coat completely, then return to the parchment-lined baking sheet until the chocolate is set. (You can refrigerate them to speed the process, if you like.)
  • Put a drop of white chocolate on the back of each eyeball and affix 2 on each banana toward the top and next to each other. Decorate the bananas with zig zags of white chocolate to resemble strips of white cloth. Serve when the chocolate is set.
