We are in full summer mode, and what better way to celebrate than with our first annual WOT Grill Week!

We thought we would kick off Grill Week with some must-haves that we have stocked in our WOT Test Kitchen… These items are needed to make your grilling a little easier, and make each grill recipe a success.

First up: Propane or Charcoal — This debate continues and what it comes down to is your personal preference and what works for you. There are pros and cons to each method, but we can all agree that grilled food tastes great (nothing like the taste or look of a little char). So pick your grill, and get ready to make some amazing food!

Next, let’s talk accessories: Since we at WOT love our vegetables, we love to grill them, and we have tested just about every basket you can find on the market. There is one that stood out for us, the Weber Deluxe Ss Vegetable Basket. It not only works great for vegetables (especially if they’re cut up), but it can also work for grilled shrimp too. Stay tuned this week because we have a great grilled shrimp recipe coming down the pike.

Another great grilling must-have are these Lucalda Two-Prong Stainless Steel Skewers for Grilling. We flipped for this grilling accessory. No more soaking bamboo and have your meats and vegetables turning on the skewers when you go to flip them. These two-pronged skewers keep your grilling items in place, and we loved the slide feature making for easy release, no more having to struggle with your fork trying to get your meat and vegetables free from the skewers. Also, we love that they are reusable!

So get your grill, your basket and your skewers ready because we are going to be BBQ-ing up a storm all week long and sharing some great recipes and tips with you.
