This recipe is great for any summer party, but is especially perfect for your 4th of July festivities!
Watermelon with Goat Cheese Mousse
4 oz of plain goat-cheese (softened)
½ cup of heavy whipping cream (whipped)
6-8 pieces of watermelon cut into desired shape
Basil or Mint sprigs for garnish
Combine the softened goat cheese with the whipped cream. Gently fold together.
Place mixture into a zip top plastic bag and make a small cut in one of the bottom corners.
Place watermelon slices on plate and pipe desired amount of goat-cheese mousse on top.
Garnish with basil or mint sprigs.
Serve within an hour.
